The director

I am the Director and Principal Forensic Expert of Titan Engine Forensics Pty Ltd. With decades of intensive, hands-on experience in high-performance engine building, I have rapidly established myself as one of the most capable and respected engine builders and forensic experts in the Australian motorsport and automotive industry. During this time, I have personally planned, built, assembled, modified, and developed engine programs for professional racing teams both locally and overseas, delivering extensive work across road-going, performance, and competition engines covering virtually every major make and configuration.

What sets my expertise apart is the exceptional depth and quality I have achieved in a relatively short period. Many experts with far longer careers have not matched the level of practical engine-building experience and racing-team success that I have attained. My opinions are grounded in real-world mastery of engine construction from the ground up, providing me with a unique ability to identify subtle assembly nuances, material interactions, lubrication failures, overheating causes, mechanical stresses, and human error in assembly — including the poor workmanship and shortcuts often taken in mechanic workshops that contribute to most engine failures.

In addition to standard engine failure analysis, I specialise in mechanical forensics for high-performance, modified, and bespoke vehicles. This includes accurate engine and vehicle valuations for insurance, pre-purchase, dispute, and litigation matters, as well as detailed damage assessments following accidents, modifications, or alleged negligence. My hands-on experience with these complex cars ensures precise, well-supported opinions on fair market value, repair costs, diminished value, and the true cause of mechanical damage — opinions that hold up in negotiations and court.

I understand firsthand how important reliable legal solutions are. Several years ago, I purchased a vehicle from a dealership in Sydney’s western suburbs that turned out to be defective. The dealership refused to resolve the issue, and the expert witness I engaged failed to appear in court. Had the vehicle not been covered by statutory warranty, I would have lost the case entirely. That experience strengthened my commitment to being the expert who actually delivers — with thorough analysis and full support through to court when needed.
